Multipolar Neuron — Textured Animal Cell with Neuron Extensions A 3D educational model of a nerve cell, built by extending a fully textured animal-cell base with neuron-specific external structures. The cell body retains its original UV-mapped organelles — nucleus, mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, lysosomes, receptor proteins, and cell membrane — while new geometry adds the features that define a neuron. Added structures: Dendrites — branching, tree-like extensions radiating from the top and sides of the cell body, tapering and forking into finer sub-branches (dark maroon) Axon — a single long process exiting from a cone-shaped axon hillock, wrapped in steel-blue myelin sheath segments Nodes of Ranvier — small reddish constrictions in the gaps between myelin segments Axon terminals — forking synaptic endings at the far tip
