422. Forty days before Going to Heaven
Acts 1:3,To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: Why does the number 40 keep showing up at every major turning point in the Bible? Rain falls for 40 days. A nation wanders for 40 years. A prophet walks 40 days through empty desert. And when Jesus rises from the dead, He stays exactly 40 days before ascending to heaven.
