App Store Screenshot Kit — Frame, Caption, Ship
Your app might be good. Your screenshots make it look like a weekend project. This is the kit I use to fix that across 50+ apps: a script and a set of templates that drop a raw simulator screenshot into a clean device frame with a headline, at the exact pixel size the App Store wants. No subscription, no watermark, no account, no Figma. And it's the only screenshot kit built around the thing that gets indie accounts flagged — apps that all look the same. You shipped the app, but the product page shows a raw simulator grab with a "Carrier" status bar and placeholder text. Next to a competitor with a framed screenshot and a one-line headline, yours looks unfinished, and the install never happens. You don't have a designer and you don't want to learn Figma for this.A real script, not a browser you rent: frame.py takes your screenshot, a caption, and a style, and writes a polished marketing PNG at 1242x2688 (6.5") or 1290x2796 (6.7"). It batches a whole five-shot set from one terminal session and only needs Pillow. Prefer to nudge by eye? There's a no-install browser framer with live preview and an editable SVG frame for Figma, Illustrator, Sketch, or Inkscape — same seven styles either way.The part nobody else sells: Apple compares your apps across your developer account and rejects batches that look the same. Identical screenshot chrome is one of the tells — I had an app rejected for exactly this under guideline 4.3a. So this kit ships seven visibly different styles — midnight, azure, paper, mint, sunset, graphite, lavender — and tells you, in writing, to use one per app. If you ship more than one app, this is the kit that keeps your account clean. In the Pro box: frame.py (Pillow-only CLI compositor), the seven styles, the browser framer, editable SVG frames at exact App Store canvas sizes, a 1024 app-icon template, an ASO copy template (caption arc, title/subtitle, keyword field), and a capture-to-upload guide with a worked example. Requires Python 3.9+ and Pillow. The Bundle adds the iOS Starter Kit (ShipKit).About the author — I build and ship iOS apps and production web apps for clients; this product comes straight out of that work.
