ENGLISH STORY-The Riverbank Refuge and the Stolen Legacy
This story follows three orphaned sisters, Pushpa, Kajri, and Rupa, who are unjustly evicted from their village home by a harsh sarpanch. Faced with homelessness and poverty, they relocate to a riverbank in the forest and build a modest mud hut to survive a powerful monsoon. The sisters face constant social shunning due to false rumors that their late parents were temple thieves, a stigma reinforced by the village leadership. During a catastrophic flood, the sisters show extraordinary compassion by sheltering the very villagers who mistreated them. Their kindness leads to the arrival of an old priest who exposes the wealthy Shyamlal as the true thief who framed their parents. Ultimately, the sisters clear their family name, restore the stolen treasure, and find peace and respect within their community.
