Home Ledger is a local-first household budgeting app for tracking income, bills, receipts, reminders, and monthly cash flow.It can: Track monthly income and bills. Show total income, total bills, paid bills, and remaining cash. Mark bills paid or unpaid. Highlight overdue, due-today, and upcoming bills. Save recurring bills and load them into a new month. Auto-reset recurring bills for a new month. Import and export CSV budget data. Export and import encrypted backup files. Store data locally in the browser/app window with encryption. Use a master password and recovery key. Attach digital receipts to bills. Copy receipts into a chosen Records folder organized by year/month. Show receipt file chips and image thumbnails. Set desktop bill reminders, such as due date, 3 days before, or 1 week before. Print a budget report. Use a built-in draggable calculator. Copy calculator results or send them directly to the amount field. Switch between Overview, Bills, Income, and Records views. Filter budget items by category. Show category totals. Compare total bills against the previous month. Toggle compact mode for denser table viewing. Run from a dedicated app-style window instead of a normal browser tab. It is packaged as a Windows installer ZIP and installs Desktop/Start Menu shortcuts named Home Ledger.
