Macedonian Pezhetarios - Greek Armor 3D model
The Pezhetairoi or foot Companions first came to prominence during the reign of Philip II as the backbone of the Macedonian army. But it was his son, Alexander the Great, that took them to the edge of the known world during one of the most decisive conquests of ancient history.This Pezhetarios armor 3D model includes a Phrygian crested helmet, linothorax (chest armor) and pteruges, chiton (robes), greaves, and boots. The hard surface components were modeled in Maya and the clothing in Marvelous Designer. The asset was textured in Substance Painter. The grooming for the helmet was done in Houdini. It was originally designed to be a crowd asset. However, being fairly low-poly (20.5k) and subdivision ready, makes the model very versatile to be used in a wide range of scenarios.
