Earthlines: Coral Traces, Diptych

Earthlines: Coral Traces is a digital diptych by Alex Brajković.The two works are built from millions of rhythmically distributed points, forming dense fields that move between image, data, erosion, and trace. Presented together, they function as a paired visual system: one panel carries approximately half the point density of the other, turning subtraction into structure and loss into form. The diptych is inspired by long-term coral reef decline and by data connected to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Rather than illustrating coral directly, the works translate environmental loss into a restrained visual language of accumulation, absence, compression, and spatial rhythm.Originally exhibited as prints on black acrylic / black plexiglass, these works are now available as a digital edition for self-printing.This is not a physical print. You are purchasing both digital artworks as one diptych set, delivered as high-resolution files for professional self-printing.What you’ll receiveYour purchase includes 5 files total: 2 transparent-background print files for final production 2 black-background preview files for viewing and reference 1 TXT file with artwork information, print notes, and licence terms File details Title: Earthlines: Coral Traces Artist: Alex Brajković Format: Diptych Number of artworks included: 2 Resolution per artwork: 16795 × 9449 px Aspect ratio: approximately 16:9 Print size guidancePlease keep the original aspect ratio when printing.Suggested sizes for each panel: 80 × 45 cm 100 × 56.25 cm 120 × 67.5 cm 150 × 84.4 cm 180 × 101.3 cm 200 × 112.5 cm 213.3 × 120 cm The files can also support smaller or intermediate sizes, depending on your print provider and desired viewing distance.Printing recommendationsThese works were originally exhibited on black acrylic / black plexiglass, and that remains my recommended presentation format. The transparent-background files are especially suited for production on dark substrates such as: UV print on black acrylic print on black plexiglass other dark rigid materials suited to professional print workflows Final size, substrate, finish, and mounting are entirely up to you and your print provider. For best results, use a professional print studio. Please note This is a digital download only No physical product will be shipped The black-background files are included as preview/reference versions The transparent-background files are intended for printing Colours, density, and surface appearance may vary depending on printer, substrate, lighting, and finish Because this is a digital product, all sales are final LicenceThis purchase is for personal use only. You may: print the artworks for your home, studio, or office print them at different sizes for your own personal display You may not: resell the files redistribute or share the files upload them to print-on-demand platforms use them commercially mint them as NFTs claim the artworks as your own About the workEarthlines: Coral Traces reflects on how human activity leaves marks on planetary systems. The two panels are not illustrations of coral, but translations of environmental change into density, rhythm, and subtraction. In this diptych, reduction becomes visible not as a statistic alone, but as a spatial condition: one field persists, the other thins, and the distance between them becomes the subject.
