Aporia is a contemporary digital art project by Alex Brajković, developed at the intersection of artificial intelligence, fictional landscape imagery, and responsive visual systems.The title comes from the philosophical idea of aporia: a paradox, an impasse, a space of uncertainty that cannot be resolved in a simple way. That idea runs through the landscapes in this series. They appear monumental, seductive, and strangely familiar, yet they remain impossible places, suspended somewhere between geology, memory, simulation, and imagination.The original Aporia installation was conceived as a field of continuously shifting digital landscapes. Through optical and infrared tracking, visitors could influence the structure, rhythm, and visual dynamics of the work with their own gestures. The viewer was no longer only an observer, but a participant, subtly reshaping the image through movement.This Gumroad edition presents selected still landscapes extracted from that larger evolving system.Each image is offered as an individual digital artwork: a fragment of a wider speculative world built from artificial image generation, curation, and visual composition. These works do not document real places. Instead, they explore the unstable boundary between the believable and the impossible, asking where perception ends and invention begins.The series reflects on the role of AI in contemporary visual art, not as a replacement for artistic thinking, but as a tool that opens new aesthetic and philosophical questions.
