If it can't confidently match a file, it emails you to review instead of guessing. Daily Digest — one evening summary: what's still outstanding, what you chased today, what came in. A Google Sheets template spec — the exact tabs (Clients, Document Requests), column headers, and sample rows to copy. A step-by-step setup guide — from zero to live in about 30–45 minutes, no coding. An optional AI personalization mode — off by default. Turn it on with your own OpenAI key to reword each reminder; the workflow keeps working (and free) if you leave it off or if the AI call ever fails. Your licence file. Everything is plain JSON and text you own and can edit. Copy the sheet template — two tabs, add a few real clients and the documents you're waiting on. Connect Google once (Sheets, Gmail, Drive) — one credential, reused across all three workflows. Fill one Configuration box per workflow: firm name, Sheet ID, notification email, signature. Test with your own email, then flip each workflow Active. From then on it runs on a weekday schedule automatically. Requirements An n8n instance — n8n Cloud or self-hosted. Built and verified to import on n8n 2.28. A Google account — for the spreadsheet, sending reminders (Gmail), and watching the upload folder (Drive). A Workspace account is recommended for professional sending. About 30–45 minutes to set up. No extra subscriptions and no hidden costs — it runs on normal free Google usage. Optional: an OpenAI API key (only if you switch AI personalization on) and a Slack workspace (only if you want the digest posted to Slack instead of email). FAQDo I need to know how to code? No. You edit values in one settings box per workflow and click Test. Every canvas has sticky notes telling you what to do. There is no scripting for you to write.n8n Cloud or self-hosted? Either. On n8n Cloud you connect Google with one click. Self-hosting works too — the guide includes the one-time Google OAuth setup.Is AI required? Will it cost me extra? No and no. The reminders use polished built-in templates that cost nothing to send. AI is an optional upgrade you control with your own OpenAI key; leave it off and everything still works.What about Outlook / Microsoft 365? The workflows ship with Gmail nodes. You can swap each for n8n's Microsoft Outlook node and reconnect it — the surrounding logic is unchanged. (A dedicated Outlook edition may come later.)What if a deep sub-folder upload isn't detected? n8n's Drive trigger reliably catches files added to the watched folder; on some versions very deep sub-folders can be missed.
