Built as a Max for Live device for Ableton Live, it combines a chord generator with integrated modulation, filtering, delay, and reverb, making it quick and easy to build deep, evolving dub techno sounds from a single device.At its core, Dubform can generate a range of preset chord voicings from individual MIDI notes, allowing you to move between minor, major and suspended chords with a single control. Noise blends filtered texture into the synth to add grit and analogue-style character without overpowering the sound. Pulse introduces subtle movement through internal modulation, creating evolving analogue-style motion and bringing life to static chord patterns.Independent high-pass and low-pass filters make it easy to shape the tone, from deep, warm chords to thin, high-passed textures that sit naturally in a mix. Resonance emphasises the filter response, adding movement and character that becomes particularly effective when automated.Dubform also includes an integrated stereo delay and spacious reverb, allowing simple chord stabs to develop into rhythmic echoes and wide atmospheric washes without relying on additional effects.
