THE PUG DELAY — Vintage Tape Echo

A 70s-style tape echo that sits, stays, and self-oscillates on command.THE PUG DELAY is a 70s-inspired tape echo from Corn Dog Studio. It looks like it fell out of a 1974 van. It sounds like it too, minus the maintenance — underneath, a modern high-definition engine keeps the repeats warm and chiselled at any setting. What it does for your tracks Vocals — built-in DUCKING pushes the repeats under the singer and lets them bloom between phrases. No sidechain routing, no fighting the mix. Drums & beats — tempo-synced delays (1/1 to 1/64, straight / dotted / triplet) with TAPE wow & flutter for movement that stays in the pocket. Dub & psych — crank FEEDBACK above ~80% for musical, controlled self-oscillation. Ride TONE so every repeat gets darker, from murky dub to bright slap. One-knob weirdness — WEIRD is a psychedelic macro: deep detuned chorus + a slowly swept resonant filter. Instant riser material. Glue or lo-fi — MAGNETO, a final master tape-machine stage. Subtle glue low, proud lo-fi at full. Plus: a stereo 70s jet FLANGER on the repeats, and a REVERB with tempo-quantizable pre-delay (0–500 ms) — AMS style.(+ sections The details / What's included / System requirements / Install note — le fichier complet est dans la Dropbox)Who makes this? Corn Dog Studio — one French musician, one plugin. If something's off, you're emailing the person who wrote the DSP.The pug on the faceplate doesn't do anything. He just lives there now.
