Blackout

Blackout is an abstract typeface inspired by redacted documents. Three different fonts are featured: Redacted, which is meant to simulate a hand-drawn marker crossing out sensitive information; Sanitized, a more digitally-inspired correction method; and Corrected, a white-out style variant of Redacted. Each glyph, including the word space glyph, is carefully protected to avoid any unintentional disclosure of information.Concept and direction by Alex Inkpen.
