Based on qualitative content analysis of 739 marketing artifacts across seven practitioners, supplemented by a thirty-issue magazine corpus spanning nearly six years and three framework generations, the research traces the binary across three dimensions: as a promise that names real suffering and offers a gendered explanation, as a performance system that imposes continuous calibration demands while the underlying commercial architecture persists, and as a capture mechanism that displaces alternative interpretive vocabularies.
